2019 CACC CORVETTE DAY at the DRAG STRIP
Saturday, March 30 , 2019
Who: All Arkansas Corvette Clubs and non-club Corvette owners are welcome (only Corvettes on the strip) .
What: Drag Racing at its BEST!! About three (3) hours of track time, starting about 11:00 a.m. Drivers can do tune and test runs, race others, and work on their times for bracket racing, which will conclude the track events. Pure drag racing only is allowed, no slaloms or anything creative. Trophies for First and Second place Bracket Winners. Dragstrip rules require drivers wear a helmet.
When: Sat, March 30, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. til 2:00pm. The CACC convoy will depart the West Little Rock Wal-Mart Supercenter on Cantrell Road at 8:30 am, with one pit stop. Rain make-up day is the following Saturday, April 6, 2019.
Where: Centerville Dragway, Centerville, AR ( www.centervilledragway.com). Just for information the track has had continued re-modeling and is the best ever !!
Cost: $40 per car participating and $ 20 per spectator. To assist those mathematically challenged, an example would be: If you participate in racing and you have someone with you, your total fee is $60. If you are alone, and observing, it will cost you $20…two people observing $40. PLEASE HAVE EXACT CHANGE IN CASH, it gets us into the track much faster.
Why ?: If you have to ask… you may want to check the auto ads…..there are real deals if you want to trade your Corvette for a Toyota Prius. Seriously, this is a great time to race/time your Corvette or cheer on your friends. Bleachers are available but we encourage you to bring your folding chairs. Coolers are welcome and the track snack bar is open for burgers, drinks, etc.
After the racing day concludes, we TWO options: (1) convoy to C.J.’s Burger Boy in Russellville restaurant for an old Fashion Hamburger and fellowship. (2) Forget CJ’s (grab a snack at the track, candy bar or do without) and join a “Spirited” cruise back to Little Rock, lead by Rich Van Allen.

Reminder: If the Drag Strip is offering additional racing later in the day or evening, your may return to watch at no additional fee !!
